The workshop will cover basic traditional method of washi papermaking; preparing kozo bark for cooking, cleaning, beating the fiber, papermaking and drying. Suitable for anyone with a love and true interest in traditional Japanese papermaking, this workshop will also include traditional Japanese bookbinding and natural indigo dyeing (an Awagami specialty).
