* NEW Kakishibu (Persimmon-dyed) Papers

These kozo papers have been hand-dyed by Awagami craftswomen using natural persimmon fruit tannin (aka "Kakishibu").  As kakishibu is a natural pigment, each sheet is unique and the tone can slightly change over time if exposed to direct sunlight.  Use for paper arts, bookbinding, photo backdrops, etc. These papers exude the true sense of Japanese wabi-sabi aesthetic and we're happy to offer them for the first time internationally here.
