Coated with Dosa, these professional-quality sheets exude an exceptional warmth due to its beige tone and subtle 'laid' (line) surface. The sheets have a slightly crisp feeling and are used by Japanese printmakers as the dosa coating allows for multiple layers of water-based ink to build effortlessly on the surface. Uwazen has 1 slightly textured side & 1 smoother side with tiny laid lines seen upon close inspection. A very fine handmade paper in a large size.
