It's rare to find a 100% handmade washi paper in this large 1 x 2meter size...and it's even rarer to find one made using such a unique mix of natural fibers. Yumashi is a recreation of an ancient Japanese paper for traditional Nihonga-style painting.  Extremely strong while still pliable, Yumashi is suitable for painting, printmaking, drawing and mixed media fine art.  It has a warm white natural tone and a soft-to-the-touch surface. A very special paper made in limited quantities by only our most highly skilled papermakers.
